Movies: I am endeavoring to learn how to appreciate
movies in the most complete way possible. I don't know why
I am so interested in film as an art form, but I am.

Travel: I have had the good fortune to be able to
travel to many different places around the United States
and around the world. I'm not much with a camera, but
here are some countries I have visited:
- Germany (May 1999)
- Japan (March 2001)
- Sweden (September/October 2001)
- Denmark (October 2002)

Spain (October 2002, April 2003, July 2003, February 2004,
June 2004)

Writing: Someday, I will write a book—probably
a technical manual or something along those lines. Writing
is general enjoyable, even relaxing, for me, though doing
my master's thesis was pretty hard
work. My doctoral dissertation is proving to be extremely
hard work (not the writing, the actual research aspect).

- Comic books: I collected comic books from mid-1987
until late 1995. I would still be buying them today except
that Marvel ruined Spider-Man (in my opinion) in 1995—all
in the name of selling more issues.
